Slides & Lecture Videos

All of Data 8’s lecture slides are available under the Creative Commons license, including all of the lecture’s slides as a “view-only” document. To find the most recent version of the course, or a specific semester’s slides, please visit the official Data 8 website. We recommend adopting the Spring 2020 version of the slides.

Once you are inside of the “view-only” Google Slides, follow these steps to save it to your own Google Account:

  1. In the menu, click File and then Make a copy.

  2. Type a name and choose where to save it.

    • If you want to copy comments from a document, spreadsheet, or presentation, click Copy comments and suggestions. You can choose to include resolved comments and suggestions in your new copy.

  3. Click Ok.

For more information or support, please consult the Google Docs Editors Help page.

At the time of this writing, the live lecture videos for Fall 2016 are publicly hosted in Youtube. The DSEP team is currently working on updating this set of videos to a more recent iteration of the course.
